Telangana Democratic Forum To Hold Dharna in Hyderabad To Press Rohit Vemula Case

Telangana Democratic Forum (TDF), a conglomeration of different organizations, is planning to organize a dharna on May 8, in Hyderabad, to press their demands especially related to Rohit Vemula suicide case.

The agenda of dharna is to demand action against leaders on whom SC/ST Atrocities Act was registered, and for resignation of Appa Rao, VC University of Hyderabad, as well to bring an act in the name of Rohith.

In this regard, G. Haragopal, UoH professor, PL Vishshwar Rao, Prof from Osmania university,  Kathyayani, and former high court judge Justice Chandra Kumar held a press conference in the city.

But all these were not saying any a word on why prayers were held for convicted criminal Yakub Memon in the Univerisity of Hyderabad. Neither it is a question of caste nor dalit, but it is sympathizing with anti-nationals.
